The Baby Moses Project

Provides information on Texas’ Safe Haven law, which protects a mother from prosecution if she leaves her infant (under 60 days old) at a designated “safe haven” in the care of a designated health professional. The purpose of this law to ensure abandoned infants receive adequate short- and long-term assistance.
