Houston Hotline Training: August 2003

The Woman’s Hospital Of Texas sponsored and hosted our first training for around-the-clock hotline volunteers. Over 20 volunteers attended the first training. Thanks to PRCT board member Elizabeth Lippincott for her photography skills! By the way, if it looks like everyone’s eating, it’s because our intensive training burns lots of calories!

Above: George Parnham, Andrea Yates’ defense attorney, gives volunteers an update on Andrea’s case and talks about the importance of supporting mothers who battle postpartum disorders.

Above: PRCT Executive Director Leslie Hunt and Advisory Board member Stacey Glaesmann take a break from training.

Above: Hotline volunteers (from left to right) Susan Garaygay, Cynthia Swope, and Jan Billups share experiences. All three of these volunteers also support mothers in professional capacities as well!
